Kyle Swanson

Lieutenant Kyle Swanson is a dedicated firefighter and paramedic with a strong commitment to emergency services, leadership, and professional development. Throughout his career, he has focused on expanding his knowledge and skills while serving his community and mentoring future emergency responders.

Kyle is a Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and National Registry Paramedic (NRP). He also holds numerous Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal certifications, including Company Fire Officer, Advanced Technician Firefighter, Rope Operations, Surface Water Operations, Watercraft Technician, Rescue Scuba Diver, and Ice Rescue Technician.

Committed to lifelong learning, Kyle continues to pursue advanced education within the fire service. He is scheduled to attend Advanced Fire Officer Training in September 2025, further strengthening his leadership and command capabilities.

Beyond emergency response, Kyle is passionate about education and mentorship. He plays an active role in training both new recruits and experienced department members, sharing his knowledge and helping develop the next generation of firefighters and paramedics. His dedication to professional excellence and continuous improvement reflects his commitment to providing the highest level of service to the residents of the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District.
